For problem-solving heuristics, it starts with a description of the heuristic, how to use it to solve word problems and an example of the type of word problem that can be solved using the heuristic.
This is followed by a detailed step-by-step guide of solving a word problem using the heuristic and the 4-step process, and finally, ample practice for your child to master the heuristic.
